The Funding

he Autism Society of America estimates that the lifetime cost of caring for an individual with autism ranges from $3.5 million to $5 million, with 60% of these costs coming during adulthood. Currently the United States is facing almost $90 billion annually in costs for autism. This number is expected to grow to $200-$400 billion annually in the next 10 years.

One of our goals is to reduce the overall cost families have to bear by providing quality services to our children. With the provision of a proper education, a young child can learn the skills to be an independent adult. Though costs can be high at the beginning, the investment is helping reduce greater cost that can occur in the future.

The monthly rate at One Two Three Autism School will include a comprehensive package at a cost of $2900 per child. This amount includes Special Education services, ABA therapy, OT, and SLP therapy. It will also include a $500 placement deposit, used towards the annual tuition, that is due at the date of acceptance. The Sarkis Family wishes and hopes that every child in Lebanon has access to educational services. In order to help the community and ensure many children have access to this service, the family has made a donation of $1.2 million to build and furnish the school, build the program, and establish a collaboration with the New England Center for Children.
